I love hanging laundry outside to dry. There is no substitute for how fabric feels and smells after a day in the sun and breeze…and your family will forever associate this scent with the love of home. I also enjoy this because it gets the household outside. (As a society, we spend too much time indoors, don’t you agree?)

When you’re inspired to dry clothes on the line, follow the guidelines below for optimal results. And I’ve put these on pretty artwork for you to print out, frame, and hang in the laundry room. (Hint: find a nice piece of paper, print in color, trim to 8x10 and place in a 11x14 frame with white mat.)

Note: watermelon helmet and skateboard are optional for this house keeping activity. :)
