The journey of VRAI UNLIMITED began when Melissa was pregnant with her first child. She realized that beliefs, in many cases, were not truths. So much well-intentioned advice was offered. “Do it this way,” “it’s safe,” and “that’s how your grandmother did it” rang in her ears. But so much of it didn’t feel right, didn’t feel like the best way. Melissa was now on a quest for best, for truths. Chemicals in the home, nutrition, our own biology – everything was now on her radar.

LIFESTYLE
Melissa talked about this lifestyle she was passionately creating. And to her surprise, she realized people were listening. Lots of people. Books followed. International speaking tours. Sharing truths. Opening eyes. The Chemical Free Home and The Art of Living Well became a global force for good.

REFINEMENT
As she cleared the physical world of toxins, Melissa realized minds, too, could benefit from refinement. After all, our thoughts ultimately create our world – and most of us play some fairly toxic scripts on repeat. One Iconic Life was born.

BEAUTY
And then there is beauty. Oh, the adventures in beauty. Beauty has held Melissa’s fascination since she was old enough to thumb through magazines in her grandmother’s basement. She studied. She pondered. And as she became a teenager, she experimented. She loved every colorful detail. Except the side effects. The sensitivities, the clogged pores, the oiliness – or dryness, as the case may be. Knowing that women deserved different, she created Savvy Minerals Makeup, sold it to Young Living, and traveled the world, listening to women – perhaps you! Despite this success, Melissa wasn’t content. She continued to see an even better way.

VRAI Cosmetics is that way. Launched in 2024, Melissa revolutionized makeup again. Detrimental ingredients banned. Outdated beliefs dissolved. Surprisingly innovative ingredients added. And the result: beauty with benefits. Makeup elevated to skin care. VRAI is French for truth. And truth is the ethos of this movement.
